Quinoa Coconut Porridge

  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup quinoa flakes
  • 1 cup water
  • 20 - 30 grams vanilla protein powder
  • 1 diced pear
  • cinnamon
  • coconut cream/ coconut yogurt
  • coconut flakes
  1. Add quinoa flakes and water to a small saucepan, bring to boil

  2. Add pear, protein powder and dash of cinnamon

  3. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

  4. Serve topped with coconut flakes and a little coconut cream/ coconut yogurt

  5. Variations...

  6. You may replace pear with apple, berries or your choice of seasonal fruit

  7. A mixture of seeds and nuts may replace or accompany the coconut flakes
