My version of mash not only tastes amazing it also offers you a balance of protein, carbs and healthy fats. It goes particularly well with grilled fish.

Potato Free Mash



  1. Place cauliflower in a steamer and cook until soft enough to be mashed 

  2. In a separate saucepan add 2 cups of water and peas, bring to boil and cook peas until soft and tender

  3. Drain peas and place in a large bowl, add cooked cauliflower and diced avocado, mash until ingredients combine well but not completely lump free. texture adds to the meal

  4. Season with salt and pepper and serve
